About Amrutha Ayurvedic Medical College (AAMC)
Amrutha Ayurvedic Medical College based in Chitradurga was established in the year 1996-97. The institution is run by Sri Devaraj Vidya Samsthe.
The institute provides the facilities like a hospital lab, herbal garden, and trained teaching staff.
The college has a very good infrastructure and has 60 bedded hospitals. The medical herbal garden in the college has the rarest herbs and almost all the medicinal herbs. The pharmacy is well equipped and the medicines are prepared daily in the pharmacy.
The college also has a museum of Anatomy, Physiology, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra, Vyavhar Ayurveda, and Agada Tantra. The institution has a sports auditorium, computer lab, and updated medical library.

Eligibility
- Students seeking admission to the first professional B A M S course must have passed the 10+2 examination of the state board or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, (RGUHS) Bangalore, with English as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in the Physics Chemistry Biology Groups.
- However in the case of students belonging to SC/ST & category, first the minimum requirement in the percentage of marks for admission to the first B A M S course is relaxed by 10% of marks (applicable only to the Karnataka. state students)
- No candidates shall be admitted unless he/she has completed 17 years of age on the 31st December year of admission.
- Candidate Should Have Choosen Physics, Chemistry And Biology In His/Her +2 And Have Secured Minimum 50% Aggregate To Study The Under Graduate Course. Candidate Should Qualify In NEET For Under Gradation And In AIAPGET For Post Graduation Mangament Admission Will Be Based On Merit And NEET/AIAPGET ELIGIBILITY
Admission Process
- Admission will be started as per schedule by R G U H S Bangalore.
- Application in the prescribed form and complete in all respects should be submitted to the Principal Sri Raghavendra Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Malladihalli within the last date specified for submission of application.
- The application should be accompanied by true copies of all the concerned marks cards and other certificates, incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
