About The College
Kempegowda Institute Of Physiotherapy, Bangalore was established in the year 1980 by the Vokkaligara Sangha and is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka.
Kempegowda Institute Of Physiotherapy is renowned by the Medical Council of India (MCI) permanently for running MBBS Course since 1980-81 and also running Post-graduate degree/diploma courses in various disciplines since 1991-92.
The motto Sathatha Seva Thathparathe emblazoned in the Kannada language declares the goal in the life of every Kempegowda Institute Of Physiotherapy graduate meaning “Always devoted to the service”.
The Institute offers BPT courses to both national or international students.

Admission In BPT Courses
Eligibility:-
- Must have passed the Pre University Education or 10 + 2 from recognized Boards.
- Must have secured not less than 50% of the total marks in Science subjects taken altogether at the qualifying examination and NEET.
- Must have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
The Selection is based on the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test ( NEET).
Admission Process:-
Through NEET: Kempegowda Institute Of Physiotherapy admits aspirants on the basis of merit in NEET.
Through Management Quota:-
Kempegowda Institute Of Physiotherapy offers 150 seats to students for BPT Course. Among the total number of seats available i.e 150 Seats, it has done 3 main divisions:-
Government Category – 60 Seats
Private Category – 60 Seats
Management Category – 30 Seats
