Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic medicine and surgery
The Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery (BAMS) graduate degree is conferred upon students who have completed a course of study that lasts for five and a half years and includes an internship of one year.
A management quota is a system in which only a particular number of seats are made available to students who have attained a specified level of academic or other credentials.
If, after taking into account all of the applicants who are eligible, there are still management quota seats available, then the Admission Committee will take into consideration the applications from those students who have not qualified for the merit list. This indicates that if you have failed to secure a place on the merit list, your best chance of getting accepted may be to apply through the management quota procedure.
A 4.5-year Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree program with a surgical and Ayurvedic specialization is one of the programs that are available. During this program, students will learn about traditional medicines that are derived from herbs and shrubs. These medicines can be used to treat rare diseases that cannot be cured using conventional medical practices.
Candidates are required to do an internship lasting one year following the conclusion of the degree in order to put the theoretical information they obtained throughout their studies into practice in a medical setting.
The process of admission is via online form filling if you qualify for the merit list. If your name doesn’t appear on the merit list, then you can apply through management quotas.
The management quota is a method that enables students who have not been accepted on the merit list to be accepted to BAMS courses. Students who did not meet the requirements to be placed on the merit list might be assisted by this method, which provides them with the opportunity to be accepted on the basis of their abilities and credentials.
