About Oxbridge College of Pharmacy

The Oxbridge College of Pharmacy is part of the Oxbridge Group of Institutions, which runs many colleges in Bangalore, such as management, science and commerce, and others. Their pharmacy school offers education at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.

They are affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and are recognized by both the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Oxbridge College of Pharmacy will only accept students who have passed the Karnataka CET 2019 entrance exam.

Courses

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)

  • Eligibility – A 10+2 pass in Physics, Chemistry, and either Math or Biology. D. Pharm degree from a Pharmacy Council of India-approved institution under “The Pharmacy Act.”
  • Duration – 6 Years

Master of Sciences of Pharmacy (M.Pharma)

  • Eligibility – Masters of Pharmacy [M.Pharm.] course entrance requires a B. Pharm. in pharmaceuticals from a recognized university/college. The minimum graduate aggregate score of 60%. GPAT scores help identify India’s best colleges. University/college cut-off percentages vary.
  • Duration – 2 Years

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma)

  • Eligibility – Minimum of 45% marks in the following subjects taken combined (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC) and a qualifying result in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of students) in the Higher Secondary (10+2) qualifying examination.
  • Duration– 4 Years

Management Quota in Pharmacy Course

Applicants who didn’t make it onto the merit list may still be able to enroll in the Pharmacy program if they take advantage of the management quota. The quote is based on the number of empty seats in the class and is used to fill any seats left over after everyone else has been accommodated. Usually, the deadline for sending in applications is two weeks before the start of a new school year.

Admission Process

  1. Admission applications and prospectuses can be received from the Director/Principal in person for Rs. 500/- or by submitting an Rs. 4,000 money order or demand draught payable to the respective colleges.
  2. Applications for admissions in the required format must be received by the Director/Principal no later than the deadline stated.
  3. All admissions are conditional and subject to the approval of the relevant authority Applicants who have been selected but who are later deemed ineligible or disqualified by the university, board, etc., are ineligible for admission.

In such a case, the institute shall not be held liable in any way for any loss incurred by the applicant. This admitted ineligible candidate should not be permitted to continue his or her studies at the college.
