About Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College (RAMC)

Ramkrishna Ayurvedic Medical College based in Bangalore was established in the year 1999. The institution is run by Sri Balaji Education Trust.

Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research center Recognised by Government of Karnataka, Central Council of Indian Medicine, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi& Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore- Karnataka.

The institute provides the facilities like a herbal garden with more than 250 medicinal plants available for demonstration. The College has a collection of over 200 wet specimens of rare plants in the pharmacology museum.

 Provided with the clinical departments, dissection theatre, laboratory, museum, and practical hall, departments are spacious & equipped with state of art modern teaching aids. Regular Yoga classes are conducted as part of the curriculum.

BAMS Admissions in the RAMC

Eligibility

  • Students seeking admission to the first professional B A M S course must have passed the 10+2 examination of the state board or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, (RGUHS)Bangalore, with English as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in the Physics Chemistry Biology Groups.
  • However in the case of students belonging to SC/ST & category, first the minimum requirement in the percentage of marks for admission to the first B A M S course is relaxed by 10% of marks (applicable only to the Karnataka. state students).
  • NEET (UG) eligibility is Mandatory for UG

For Post-graduation

  • NEET (PG) eligibility is Mandatory for PG
  • And the BAMS graduate.

No candidates shall be admitted unless he/she has completed 17 years of age on the 31st December year of admission.

Admission Process

  • Admission will be started as per schedule by R G U H S Bangalore.
  • All the admission made by the college for the first year of the BAMS course is provisional and subject to approval by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The institute is not responsible for any loss due to non – confirmation of admission by the University.
  • The application should be accompanied by true copies of all the concerned marks cards and other certificates, incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.

Through Management Quota
