About RV College Of Architecture

R.V. College of Architecture is an autonomous college, formed in 1992, as Department of Architecture in R. V. College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru.
In 1995, the department paved its way to an independent new building within the RVCE campus.
The department obtained autonomy and renamed to the R.V School of Architecture in 2009. Later in the same year, the Council of Architecture (COA), India, approved its re-designation to R.V College of Architecture.
The college offers admissions in three aspects

Management Quota for B.Arch Courses

Candidates willing to take admission in RV College in B.Arch Courses can take admissions directly without undergoing any entrance exam. For this, they must have passed 10th with a minimum of 70% in Mathematics and Science, 11th with a minimum of 65% in Mathematics and Physics, 12th with 65% in Maths and Physics. Eligibility

  • The minimum age limit for candidates applying is 17-year.
  • For CET must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • COMED-K must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject/ 10+3 diploma with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission process

Through NATA

Candidate should compulsorily pass in NATA Exam or any specially designed Aptitude Test in Architecture such as JEE(Architecture) conducted by the competent authority of the Central/State Government.

Through CET

Qualifying Examination : Minimum 50% (in aggregate) or Second division/class in 10+2/ intermediate/PUC/any other equivalent state exam.

Through COMED-K

Candidates should have appeared for COMED-K should regularly check the announcements made on the Comed-K website.

RV College offers B.Arch. courses through management quota for those who have passed 10th with a minimum of 70% in Mathematics and Science, 11th with minimum of 65% in Mathematics and Physics, 12th with 65% in Maths and Physics.
