About The College

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) was established in 1962 by Late Dr. M S Ramaiah. He was the founder Chairman and was a renowned philanthropist and a pioneer in creating several landmark infrastructure projects in India.
The school of architecture, MSRIT, Bangalore, started in the year 1992. Since its establishment, the school has played a vital role in providing quality education. The Council of Architecture and AICTE has recognized this program.
It is an autonomous (affiliated to VTU) institute providing scope for further improvement.
The status of the Institute can be determined from the fact that it holds 64 th rank in India.
MSRIT has deliberated with ISO 9001 certification in the year 2000 and re-certifications were acquired in the years 2003,2007 and 2010.
The department of B.Arch in the Institute has completed 25 years (Silver Jubilee). It has acquired 2nd position in the Archumen Quiz, South Zone.
It is also renowned for being the 2nd runner up in ZONASA Competitions.

Admissions in MSRIT Architecture Courses 2022

To be eligible for admission in B.Arch Course of MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology you have to qualify the following parameters:

Eligibility

  • Must have passed 10 + 2 patterns of examination (equivalent to the two years Pre-university in Karnataka).
  • Admission to Five years B.Arch., Course with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level of examination and English is one of the Language.
  • Must have appeared and secured a minimum of 40% marks in NATA. (Including SC / ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates) conducted by the Council of Architecture
